CBS has just announced that it paid $1.8 billion for the CNET network. This now means that CBS owns GameSpot.com , Mp3.com, search.com and all the other CNET properties. This is a smart move giving the fact that network TV audiences are drying up. Here are some of the major sites that were just bought (AbleGamers.com was not one of them, and that is okay!)
Here are just some of the sites they have. This means some of the main sites for game news now are under CBS. - cnet.com
- downloads.com
- gamespot.com
- search.com
- gameFAQ.com
- TV.com
- GameRanking.com
- MySimon.com
- ZDNet.com
- ChowHound.com
- MP3.com
I am sure there are more. Recommend this article... Last update: 19-05-2008 16:21
