Last weekend I went to Atlanta, Georgia to participate at Nationals for Power Soccer. It is a sport made for people who use powerchairs. It is still growing in the U.S.

Last year I participated in the first World Cup for the sport held in Tokyo, Japan. We won the World Cup by beating the favorites, France, in the finals. If anyone is interested to know about the sport please feel free to ask me.

I have been playing for 11 years. It is really fun to play Power Soccer but my favorite part about it is that I have met soo many new people. I always love going to Nationals and seeing my friends. There aren't many sports for people in powerchairs. If anybody wants to know more about the sport please ask me.

wow that is pretty cool! If I used to do power chair bowling with my wheelchair. It always amused me to go as fast as humanly possible and then stopped on a dime and then watch the ball go flying. Those links are pretty cool though and congrats to you on your success!

Thanks for the replies. What I wanted to do with this post is also to let everyone know that this sport is still growing and we are wanting to make more teams. If anybody is interested on playing this or knows anyone that might please let me know. It is something im sure anyone would enjoy.

I love to watch the teams play murder ball. Those guys that play wheelchair rugby are just insane - but in a good way. Now I will have to be a Power Soccer groupie too! hehe

if you had told me about this 10 years ago when I was awesome at operating a power wheelchair, I would've joined. If you have some videos or information on the sport I would be happy to do a write up for you and posted on the site. I'm sure Mark wouldn't mind
